Angelina Villatoro

Hi, I’m Angelina. Living with autism and selective mutism has been a unique journey filled with both challenges and remarkable moments of growth. Art has always been my sanctuary, a way to communicate when words fail me. Through painting and creating, I’ve found my voice and a special way to express my deepest emotions and to heal. My journey is one of healing, self-discovery, and transformation, -Art is not just a hobby, but a way of life.

Within my heart I can feel the burning desire to create and a passion for fine art. Ever since I was a child I have loved to draw and be creative. My ambition is to become an artist not only to express my feelings through artwork, but to make beautiful inspiring artworks. I believe that it is my purpose in life to be a creator. It was not until I was 12 that I realized what art meant to me. I was selectively mute and diagnosed with Autism and extreme anxiety. Having no other way to express myself, I turned to art to release all of my emotions. Through art, I was able to heal my depression and my love for it grew into a passion.

I desire to draw and paint whatever I imagine or see, to create an artistic vision and interpretation of the beauty in our world.
I am committed to art because it is my passion. I want to do what I love and enjoy the most, inspiring people and bringing them joy and happiness. Without art the world would be a boring place. There would not be music, clothes, houses, books, cars, or even the famous Michelangelo’s statue “David”. All such things were designed by a creator with an idea in mind. I want to show people that art is important to our society.

I have always loved to create and draw since I was a baby and could pick up a pencil. Art is my passion and I feel that it is my life purpose to pursue this. I can feel my heart ignited with a burning passion and desire for art, my interests, and to succeed. I want to work doing what I enjoy and love the most; following my dreams and my heart’s desire for a happy and fulfilling life of prosperity. I also want to share my art/creations,  and my story with the world and inspire people.
